Roger all that. Well, being I feel like it is a good time to buy baht anyway, I will do the self service and hope it all works out without too much fuss.
I will report back with my experiences after the deal is done. Probably in about 6 weeks.
Thanks for that good link. I do not mind putting the money in a Thai bank account (which I already have). I figure it is a good time to purchase Thai baht anyway at the current exchange rates.
I will not mind so much dealing with the immigration office after I heal up. All I gotta do is remember how much money I am saving by not using an agent if I ever get frustrated. I love saving money when I can. Plus I have a lotta time on my hands, thank God.
Plus I will have my Thai GF to be with me and help me negotiate the maze in the upcoming visits.
That is a excellent website overall. Great information presented in a clear easy to understand manner. I have somehow missed it in all my years of perusing Thai-info based websites. THANKS AGAIN!
Thanks for the tip, but I am trying to avoid using them. I would not mind using them for the first application, but from what I can gleen is doing that ties a person to hiring them again every year. I could be wrong, I dont know.
KDMS Hospital. They are a orthopedics specialist hospital. That is all they do.
They also have the semi-robotic equipment. So far I can HIGHLY recommend them. If you get them both done at once, you can save some money. The price is pretty much all-inclusive, including 5 nights in the hospital.
I will report back here after surgery with my thoughts. I pray they are good results. The success rate is something like 90 to 95% though, so the odds are very much in my favor.
