Check the different regions, Chiang Mai used to be the best for this but had some problems a while ago as far as I remember.

Its all about connections, and these times you need to use an agent or school that you can really trust!

And, of course, if applying for any ED visa actually attending classes and putting energy into learning is the way to go... :-)

You should have given them a black & white print first, so that they'd ask for one in colour... Which you could have given them on the spot ;-)

The devil is in the details, especially with immigration...

Its possible to get medical extensions, some hospitals even have their own agents doing the paperwork. I would start by calling your hospital to inquire about things like that :-)

If you go onto other visa types it does not block you from using your right to enter on the elite visa at a later point, its the actual membership (with card) that gives that right.

Check out Penang, its the most liberal :-)

They won't ever care HOW you leave, but certainly WHEN!

Don't think they'll even ask why you want an extension, just get it done...

If you run into problems you could try to explain of course, but don't expect any sympathy - the rules are strict.
