Hello!

So does anyone know any information about if you have an injury like myself (broken foot) and had surgery but need to go back to the hospital in mid August, that if the visas expire come July 31st will it affect me being able to stay to finish my procedure?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they can remain in Thailand to complete medical treatment after their visa expires at the end of July, given their current injury requiring ongoing hospital visits. Community responses indicate that it's possible to apply for a medical extension by obtaining a medical certificate from their doctor and submitting it to Thai Immigration for a fee.

The only one who can answer your question is your doctor.

If a medical certificate which includes a request for a Medical Extension is given you by your doctor...

Take it to Thai Immigration and make application for a medical extension. 1,900 Thai baht fee.

The doctor will specify the time # days for the extension.

Its possible to get medical extensions, some hospitals even have their own agents doing the paperwork. I would start by calling your hospital to inquire about things like that :-)
