got it. Money on the way. Should be here tomorrow. Rates are good! Thanks for your advice. Maybe if I can make it to BKK I'll look you up. Have to go there to register our marriage and apply for wife's green card so there should be opportunities.

Well, I spoke too soon. They just verified my vaccine at the boarding gate! That's a first.

When I come in to BKK international I have to go through immigration to go to Ubon and my bags are not checked through.

So update. Arrived at LAX and since I am on the "other side" of security and have all my boarding passes I walked straight to my next gate waiting for boarding. Still no show eVisa, vaccine or return ticket. FYI, I am here on a TR visa and have a one way ticket 😜 I bought one and cancelled it to get my visa 😂 Now that you can get 75 days visa exempt plus extension for 1900 baht the TR visa is a waste of money. By the time I get my extension to stay 90 days I will have spent almost $60 on Visa's. 😡. I wish Thai immigration or TAT or the government would get their shit together. They are just trying to milk us for as much money as they can.

I'm sitting at the American Airlines terminal in Atlanta as I write this. On my way to BKK. I was not asked for return ticket, vaccinations or eVisa. However, I still have to take Cathey when I get to Asia so they may ask there. But, I have never been asked on any of my previous visits as a tourist.

but it's cheaper. TR visa is $40 plus 1900 baht for the extension for only 15 more days then an extension on visa exempt.

I've never been asked and a debit card will get you the cash you need.

I got my answer. Turning off commenting.

@Kool ******
it's a new marriage visa not an extension. I'll be converting from a TR visa. Correction, according to the instructions I got it is called an extension because you are extending the visa you came in on based on marriage.
