Hello everyone. I've been reading a lot about people getting warned they are visiting Thailand too much. I was in Thailand on tourist visa in April for about 5 weeks. I bought an extension. I then went back again in October for 4 weeks. I am going back in December for 8 weeks and will buy another exemption. I'm a US citizen. Should I be concerned?

If you want to get an METV to Thailand can you just mail your passport to the closest Embassy in US or do you have to be there in person?

 you can mail in your application with passport to either Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City or Washington DC Thai Consulates.

No, tourists don't need to be concerned. As long as you agree that atourist does not apply for a visa to go home. People living inside Thailand, sometimes for years using short time visa or visa exempt are the group who get the questions and denied entries.

I just arrived back in today through Chiang Mai after 2 back to back METVS this year, but I have been following the rules. Also 3 proofs and doing touristy shit even though the bulk has been spent in Thailand.
