@Graham *****
Thank you.

This is what I interpret from this:

3 months after receiving the non-o retirement visa extension I can transfer 400k, or 800k, or even everything to the new account.

After that I go to the BBL Pattaya and have the bank book updated to prove that I had 800k in it for 3 months.

For the second retirement extension I go to the BBL KK on the day I go to the immigration office and have the bank book updated and ask for a bank letter.

Then I go to the KK immigration office and show both bank books and the bank letter from the BBL KK to prove that I have 800k in my Thai accounts.

For the third visa extension I no longer need the old BBL account.

Is everything I have interpreted correct?

Depends also which time you want to fly. I don't like to wake-up 3am. 😅

I relocated already 2017 from Europe to Southeast Asia. 25kg check-in luggage include.

To relocate inside Southeast Asia twice I used always AirAsia. No check-in luggage included.

The price depends on your destination.

If you book a 1-stop flight with airport transit, the luggage goes to the final destination. Means more than one flight and therefore higher price per kg.

Relocating to Thailand?

I had much more than 25kg.
Tim ******
I paid VND 1 million (1.3k Baht) per kg.

As far as I remember it was with AirAsia from Vietnam to Malaysia.

@Jim *******
This is a domestic transfer.

Do you pay tax for domestic transfer to your Thai bank?

Isn't the account balance at the end of the year relevant?
Tim ******
Are there payable Thai insurances who assure foreigners? I don't need repatriation.

Sure?

800k funds 2 months before the second retirement extension must not be remarked as international transfer?
