they did not ask for proof of accommodation or flights. I just entered the details of a hotel I found online and the same with the flights.
If you want peace of mind while applying- choose a cheap hotel so you can make a booking there if they ask for this (I don’t think they will, no one I know on here has been asked by the London embassy to my knowledge)
you’re welcome- good luck with your application. Also just to be clear, my experience was with the workcation dtv and I work for a company. If you are self employed, I hear they often ask for tax returns too, but not in my case.
that’s correct. When the DTV is approved, they send you a pdf which you print out and show immigration when you arrive. The pdf has a QR code which immigration can scan to get details of your visa.
that’s right Tom. I think with the exchange rate you only need about £11,500 but I put 13 in there to be safe. They literally just want to see the money is in your account. No transactions or back statements requested. However, I hear with other embassies this is not the case. London honestly seems like the easiest embassy to apply from.
it’s all done online. You go to the Thailand evisa website. It asks you which country you’re applying from and then directs you to there. All docs are simply uploaded as pdfs or jpegs.
