TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for the NON-O family visa for Thailand, it's common to worry about providing a flight number, especially if travel details might change. Commenters suggest that it's acceptable to give a potential flight number even if tickets aren't purchased yet and that proof of a flight is rarely requested. As long as you arrive in Thailand within 90 days of receiving the visa, any changes in flight details should not pose an issue.

It doesn't matter. Just use a flight number you think you might use. Just done mine like this.

Then when you receive it you have 3 months to use it.

They rarely ask for proof of flights and if you actually have a ticket you’re fine.

Just give a flight number for a flight you might use if you don’t have purchased any tickets yet. You don’t have to upload any tickets anyway.

No worries, fly when you like as long as you arrive inside the 90 days
