Hi, was hoping someone could advise me about the DTV. For context I’m a British remote worker currently living in Ecuador.

1. If I apply online can I avoid dealing with my local embassy and just do the whole process online?

2. Is there a monthly minimum I need to show I’m making or just regular payments into my bank account?

3. Do documents that they require need an apostille ?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
A British remote worker seeking advice on the Thai Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) asked if they can apply online without visiting their local embassy, what financial requirements exist, and whether documents need an apostille. Responses indicated that some embassies allow for online applications through an Evisa system. It was noted that a minimum balance of 500,000 THB is necessary, but there's no minimum monthly income requirement for the DTV. Moreover, whether an apostille is required depends on the specific embassy.

If your local embassy has the Evisa system it can be done online only. You need to have 500K THB or equivalent currency , upload a bank statement. No minimum income needed for the DTV. You have to check with your local embassy if they require an appositle, some embassies do many don't

You need to ask the Thai Embassy in the country you are in. Each Embassy has their own requirements. Or visit their website for information.
