TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are in the UK applying for a visa and need to prove your current location, several documents can be used as proof of address. Commonly accepted documents include a driving license, utility bills, council tax bills, bank statements, mortgage statements, tenancy agreements, payslips, P60s, and even a UK TV License. It's best to check the specific application requirements for the visa to ensure compliance with regulations.
they did not ask for proof of accommodation or flights. I just entered the details of a hotel I found online and the same with the flights.
If you want peace of mind while applying- choose a cheap hotel so you can make a booking there if they ask for this (I don’t think they will, no one I know on here has been asked by the London embassy to my knowledge)
