A few days before is fine

I only gave them 2 days of statements just to show the balance (London evisa)

Yes , you should but London processes applications very quickly. I doubt it’ll take more than a week

I just looked up a flight for a date close to when I wanted to leave and gave them that. They didn’t ask for confirmation. However if you want to be super safe for $15 you can get a temporary flight number which holds up under scrutiny from onwardflights.com

Proof of income is not usually requested, just proof of money in your account.

They rarely ask for proof of flights and if you actually have a ticket you’re fine.

Screenshots are not allowed. You need an official bank statement with your address. Most banks let you download this as a pdf from your online banking.

@Bernardo ************
they did not ask for proof of accommodation or flights. I just entered the details of a hotel I found online and the same with the flights.

If you want peace of mind while applying- choose a cheap hotel so you can make a booking there if they ask for this (I don’t think they will, no one I know on here has been asked by the London embassy to my knowledge)

I recently used my driving license for a successful application

@Tom ********
you’re welcome- good luck with your application. Also just to be clear, my experience was with the workcation dtv and I work for a company. If you are self employed, I hear they often ask for tax returns too, but not in my case.
