@Troy *****
I’ve seen you on here several times and every time you’re being a smart azz to somebody.

Time to take your privileged American hate back to America! It’s people like you that are ruining Thailand, the Philippines and other SE countries you bring your hate to!

GTFU! Stop being a Keyboard Coward!

No, you are wrong!! When coming to Vietnam, where there is NO IMMIGRATION, law that states an onward ticket is required to enter the country, when boarding my connecting flight in Japan on ANA airways they randomly pulled me from the boarding line to HCMC and asked me for my onward departure ticket from Vietnam.

So YOU sir are the CLUELESS ONE!

correct? This is consistent with most, if not all countries rules for the digital nomad visas now becoming so popular.

Doesn’t really make sense because a successful Influencer makes WAY more than most if not all “Digital Nomads (under their definition) working for a paycheck. They should allow proof of income from bank statements, especially if they want to get the BIG money makers to spend time in their countries.

Digital Nomad…. “I am creative and I will find us a way off this island that you got us stranded on!”

Just break down the two words!!

Digital: Digital means using electronic technology to generate, store, and process data in a format that uses discrete values, typically represented by zero and one.

Nomad: What does being a nomad mean?

A nomad is a person who moves from place to place rather than settling down and living in one area.

Who are called digital nomads?

Ultimately, digital nomadism can be defined as a lifestyle choice, for people who choose to travel the world while they work online. Here, it is important to make the difference between digital nomads and remote workers.

SO……. A YouTuber is a Digital Nomad!

very good information but I would like to see a link to where you’re getting this information because what I have found if applying in the US for the non immigrant O visa the financial requirements have escalated. Embassy in DC reflects you must have $25,000 US I’m savings. And if I recall correctly the income requirement was $3,500 p/mo.

Anyway, completely different than the financial requirements if applying in Thailand.

The requirement for an onward flight is a

Requirement of the airline, not Thai immigration. So, why are commentators saying what airline they flew that “didn’t ask”, or “did get asked” for an onward ticket?!?! This way we know if we’re going to fly a certain airline we know if there’s a likelihood that we’ll be asked for one!
