you don't get invited at the parties often, do you? You aren't the center of the universe, not everyone can get a bank that offers no fees while being abroad. You don't like to drive to a true store? You don't like that app? We got that but plz now stop hijacking this post.

@Dany *******
the only good solution is to get a REAL bank account but since that has become almost impossible then we should check on alternative ways. My bank acconts are in taiwan and there's no revolut nor bank that offer 0 fees for abroad withdrawals. Actually my bank charges me 1.5% of whatever I withdraw abroad, reason why I rather to travel with cash. Please come down your white horse, don't expect that everyone's life is the same as yours and respect the others when they help

@Dany *******
well, cuz there are a lot of bored folks like you who love to talk s**t about something they've never tried. Isn't a bank the same? Besides of getting a loan, don't you need to top up your bank account with cash before using it? I made a post about true money the other week and it's a very useful app for those who live here in thailand, it's so useful that even thais who got their bank account still apply for it. If you live here long term then it's highly recommended.

Why do you always have to criticize the folks who are trying to help here? If you are sad and you need attention/a friend to talk with, then you are welcome to dm me

I had a similar issue in taipei, actually they asked a lot of certificates that could prove my gym was official and blah blah blah. Wildcat gym owner got in touch with the embassy and she prepared all the documents requested (taipei is well known for being this strict, reason why most of the gyms refuse to deal with them now).

actually it only depends on the embassy you're applying at. Some would be ok for you to sponsor her, some want her to have the money sitting in her account for over 3 months, some would be ok cuz you have over 1MB. If I were you, I'd mail/ring the embassy and check out their requirements, that could possibly save u over 10k and a delay

if you want to be in thailand for just for month, I'd rather do a bourder bounce once that with extensions can give me up to 6 months. If you have a history of bouncing then the multi entry visa can give u up to 9 months and it costs a fraction of the dtv. If you really want the DTV instead, 4 months course might not be enough to qualify for it and you would better get at least 6+ months course

Don't trust chatgpt. Most of the embassies tend to ask for the money sitting in a saving account only. It's true we heard stories of folks who got it showing their crypto or investments account but those are rare. You can still try if you don't mind gamble 350us$

they want to see your PERSONAL bank account and they want to be sure the money has been sitting there for a few months. Your house won't work. Bitcoin won't work. Shares/stocks won't work. They want to see cash and they want to see you've gotten that cash for awhile.
