I’ve been reading in this group that some people are facing issues with their DTV Visa, so I wanted to share my recent experience at Suvarnabhumi Airport for my third entry into Thailand. Hopefully, this gives you some peace of mind!
For context, I have a Remote Work DTV Visa. My second stamp was a transit-only entry (flying from Helsinki (HEL) to Bangkok (BKK)). I went straight to the immigration counter, handed over my passport along with my DTV Visa (printed same size as my passport and laminated for convenience). The officer didn’t ask any questions—just stamped my passport, and I was through in no time. Super smooth!
My third stamp was for a flight from Da Nang to BKK. Same deal: I presented my passport and the printed, laminated DTV Visa at immigration. The officer stamped it without any questions, and I was good to go.
Both entries were incredibly straightforward, with no issues or extra scrutiny. For those worried about the process, I hope my experience helps ease your mind! Just make sure your DTV Visa is printed clearly (laminating it helps with durability), and you should be fine.
