would you still need to meet the medical insurance requirements that are required for an OA retirement extension if you have now changed to extensions based on marriage to a Thai?
thanks for the reply.......just to confirm, you are saying a person doesn't need to be on an O visa to get a retirement extension, it can also be done on the OA.
Not saying you are wrong as I haven't tried but everything I have read and heard says you need to be on an O visa to get a retirement extension so would just like to confirm for sure ....?
you mentioned you can change the reason for your extension from retirement to marriage does that mean if you were here on retirement extensions of an OA visa you could change to marriage extension linked to that same OA visa?
As I was under the impression that you needed to have an O visa to get a marriage extension.
it's not available for renewals...... that's what I'm trying to tell you.......I just applied on their website and got and email next day telling me they are not selling that policy anymore.....
