A friend is looking to apply for a 90 day Non-O (aged over 50) from the Thai Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand. On the NZ embassy website it seems to say that all Non-O visas require mandatory health insurance. She has emailed the embassy in an attempt to clarify and they direct her to the long-term insurance page ([members only]) which only talks about O-A and O-X visas, so she is a bit confused. I offered to reach out on this page to see if anyone could confirm whether the compulsory medical insurance is in fact required for the 90 day Non-O visa. Many thanks for any assistance provided.
