They said I had to go back to Singapore, but I wanted to go to Vietnam, they said no. I said what if I refuse to go to Singapore, what if I demand to go back to US. they said then you go to jail.
They are not following Thai law. each immigration office has its own rules. my advice for now is to go to Laos, then come back through the Friendship port across the MaeCong river to Udan Thani, they will stamp you with a new visa exemption then you take a bus to Udon Thani airport. Do not fly into BKK or Pattaya, Or Phuket, maybe go to Chiang Mai. but right now, I'm leaving Thailand. it's about to go to hell in a hand basket. Chinese gangs and Russian thugs are running Thailand now and Phuket. I'm going to the Philippines where I can stay for 3 years on one visa and never need to do border run. But this sites admin are clueless, you wont get real answers from here.
they will probably just stamp you with a new visa. So no worries. But there is talk of reducing the visa exemption from 60 days down to 30 days. But you can still apply for a 90 day mukti entry or single entry E-visa outside the country. But it takes about 2 weeks to process.
Yes. But remember the visa exemption and visa on arrival time limit is 180 days. After that you cant get a new stamp unless you've been out of country for 30 days. Or you can apply online for a 90 day E-visa.
