How can I open a bank account in Thailand on a Digital Nomad Visa without a work permit?

Opened account myself at BKK bank 2nd Road Jomtien 300 yards from immigration. Was on 60 day tourist visa. Ask what they need go away get all and return. Wasn't too difficult.

Never had that issue with EVA have always booked 3 months. Maybe new change, I normally book at least 6 months in advance to get best prices

I opened account with BKK back in Jan 2024, no agent ..... just provided what they asked for. I arrived and had (Tourist visa 30 days) , stamp on arrival which I extended.
