I live in korat and used a lawyer to buy our house. She charged baht. I thought this ridiculously cheap. On a non immigrant o visa you already have 12 months, and presumably have the finances to obtain a renewal. baht works out at about £444. That's the price an agency would charge for a visa renewal. However you look at it, that is not bad. Try getting a lawyer In England to get out of bed for that.

That is what I'm doing now. Came on a visa exemption 30 days as a tourist, got an extra 30 days, then got a non immigrant o visa extension.
