thanks, what's the big difference between the two?

But my underlying question?

I understand convictions older then 10 years become what is known as 'stayed' and don't generally show on a police check as they go back ten years from my very limited understanding.

Yes this has been a thing for a while, you can apply for a 60 or 90 day visa, submit your info via the consulate website and they will email you back to send in your passport and payment for processing. I recently went through this myself. AusPost is the weakest link in this process!

on closer inspection of the link from the bus company website, they included long term parking in the link. When you search for just North Pattaya bus terminal / station it shows just fine i.e. not closed permanently! Man what a head fuck.
