TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers on experiences with using Revolut for transferring THB 800,000 to a Thai bank account for a Non-Imm O visa extension. One commenter mentions a positive experience using XE instead of Revolut, confirming acceptance by immigration after depositing the amount in two separate transactions. Another commenter advises against using Revolut, citing a negative experience.

Steer clear of Revolut, I've used them once with terrible experience. Will never use them again!
I was going to use Revolut to do a crypto buy (looking for alternative methods to buy crypto), couldn't do said crypto buy (can't recall why), tried to transfer out my money and had all sorts of issues needing me to contact support. Took me two days to prove myself so I could get my own money back! I raised a complaint with the financial regulator in my country. Got an admission from Revolut that their support people did the wrong thing and received an apology and a small compensation payout, when I say small <$100AU. When I raised the complaint, all I said was I wanted access and withdraw MY funds and that's all, and that the support people were continuously asking me to acknowledge some sort of disclaimer which I did about a dozen times and their response was "we haven't received it" over and over again. That was the first and last time I used, and will ever use Revolut!
