thanks. I plan on opening a bank account this week and will drop the 800k in as well. I will Also be transferring in about 80k a month for living expenses.

On the Non OA do I need the 800k as well as 65k /monthly?

thanks Stuart. When you say convert to Non O in country is that done through the Local immigration office? (British national). Non OA was done in South Africa where I was working and resident

excellent thanks Jan. I have another years health insurance which will give me another year on the OA visa. Will start the process once that has kicked in from 1 Jan 26. Ensures I have plenty of time to get everything sorted and ready.

hi Tod. I have the OA and am also looking to change next year to O. The OA was issued in SA as I was working there at the time. My home country is the UK but no plans to return anytime soon. You mention being able to apply in the local immigration office, is it fairly straight forward?

yes thats what the embassy here asked for, then mailed the requirements to be uploaded on e-visa application.
