I can share my experience. After I submitted DTV application, status “pending documents review” 2nd day pending processing for approval” 4th day (not a weekend) received an email DTV visa approved. Just my opinion, it will most likely will be approved” based on my experience.
When I applied this week in Vietnam, I submitted two sets - set for the current month (Oct 17) and September month-end statement. I included September month-end to prove historical link to the Oct 17. Also, the September would have the more official format - full Bank Name, address, account number etc. In both of these statements I made a summary of the balances and the equivalent in Baht. This would make it easier for them to check the math. Also I only did a screenshots and combine them in 1 pdf as the e-visa system has a file limit for every upload.
A medical certificate issued by a local doctor here in Bangkok along with several appointment slips to monitor my progress. This came about after undergoing a health check up.
Reading this, I have now decided to apply in Taiwan, before they switch to e-visa in November, rather than Vietnam. I read in some posts that they will only accept payment if your visa is approved.
I have not applied yet. Will submit once I land in Taipei this Sunday. Will take the route of soft power medical activity. I am already here in Bangkok on a non O retirement VISA. Yes, I am quite old lol.
were you not asked specifically to upload copy of entry stamp on your passport and hotel booking? I was under the impression that these are standard asks. Clever of you to prove your location via bank transaction.
I don’t know about Windows machine but in MacBook what I would do isI open Word, paste a screenshot of the screenshot of the entry stamp and the the hotel booking confirmation and then “save as” the word doc you just created then choose “pdf” as format. Maybe if you search on YouTube someone has already made a video on how to do it.
