South Dakota has no income tax. There are businesses there that allow you to have an address and claim SD as your home of record.

Do what you can to change your address before you leave CA to a state that does not have income tax (SD), if it appears CA will tax you even after leaving.

Find a good woman who has worked hard at a regular job, outside of bars, isn’t a Farang hunter, doesn’t speak perfect English, minimal body count, and who loves you. Then be the man of her dreams that helps tidy up the house, treats her like the treasure she is.. In short, be the man of her dreams that she’d be a fool to lose.

Then make some babies and live happily ever after.

Curious what type immigration visa you have

I did NOT have the same experience. Went into Cambodia paid for visa, shopped for a couple hours and when I went to leave Cambodia they warned Thailand immigration views it as an immigration law violation and had routinely been not accepting people back in on same day travel. Sure enough, was detained at the border for several hours and told I was violating Thai law. They sent me back to Cambodia. Fortunately Cambodia officials canceled my exit stamp after holding me for a couple hours and did not make me pay for a new one. I got a hotel 1.5 Km from border as my wife stayed across the border in Thailand in another as she didn’t have her passport with her (5 hours from our home in Thailand).

I was on a tourist visa at that time.

service has gone down hill. Waiting times, lax responses, they opened up to too many and didn’t have services or staff keep up.

It’s Feb 12th and I’m waiting for a replacement of my main credit card since the end of Dec.

Not the first time I’ve experienced such poor service in the last 5 years.

get the NFCU rewards credit cards. You can use them in many places here and they give you whatever the current international exchange rate is for Dollar to Baht.
