yeah it takes some time 😕 most of the printing can be done in advance though. Only bank certificate and last day transaction missing and the bank does that for you 🙂

well it's "you MUST leave the country" - and you don't get many days to do that (if no children)

yeah it takes time in the bank - can't get to immi before they close for lunch - takes many hours before we are home again. The day before would be good.

that's probably immi office dependent. In the list of requirements from Udon Thani which I use it clearly says the same day.

Will a one-day overstay in Thailand cause me problems at the airport?

I got an overstay stamp in my passport a few years ago - the overstay was about 30 minutes! On my next arrival the immi officer in the airport was exceptionally slow at stamping me in - looked a lot at my passport.
