Why are my online 90-day immigration reports being rejected?

For several years i have used the online 90 day report without any problem. The last 4 occasions it has been rejected. I have just done 14 days before, 13 and today 12, each time rejected. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user expresses frustration with repeated rejections of their online 90-day report submissions in Thailand, despite having successfully used the service in the past. Several comments reveal that others have had similar experiences, hinting at potential issues with data matching and technical problems within the online system. Some note that recent travel may affect the reporting window, while others suggest ensuring the TM30 form is current and correctly filled out. In-person submissions seem to be more successful for some, raising questions about the reliability and efficiency of online reporting.

I just submitted mine online on Monday morning and it was approved on Tuesday afternoon. I had to be really careful with data entry though especially with the autofill function on my iPhone because that can really mess things up. Also double check the completed TM47 form that is emailed back to you. I had to cancel my first submission because I spotted an error on the form.

Interesting, Mervyn… I always do 90 days online and did my most recent one about 10 days ago. Same immigration area, no issue… hope you can sort it out!

I'm up for my first online 90 days report. But it requires me to scan and upload each and every document, which will take me hours to get it right and submit those forms. I give up, how is this more convenient than dropping by the immigration officer in person? I drop a bunch of papers, play on my phone and voila! If they want to make it more convenient by doing it online I'm clearly missing something I guess?

Immigration in CM recently informed me.. that if I'm doing my next 90-day report after returning to Thailand from overseas.. meaning my reporting date has been revised because of said travel.. that i can only do it online if i file it on the exact date.. ie. on day 90 itself.. and that any attempt to do it online in the early/late window would be rejected.. so to file it early or late I'd have to do it in person.. though i can't understand why they are not fixing the online system.. so it will mirror the in-person system.. and make our life easier!

If you live nearer than 30 minutes from immigration office it is not worthwhile make tm 30 on line

Immigration told me at Chaeng Wattana last week that they are having a lot of technical issues with 90 day online reporting . To be fair they are very quick now doing it personally since moving up to the first floor .

the 90 day reporting/TM30/Certificate of Residence room at the main immigration office at Chaengwattana is actually on the THIRD floor 😮

the first floor has the banks/7 Eleven, food court, coffee shop,

the second floor has the immigration office

the third floor has the 90 day / TM30 room

Last time I tried and everything matched perfectly and I was rejected due to information not matching. Tried again, rejected again. Gave up and did a drive through. I've been doing online 90 day reports for years with no probs before this. 🤔

Happened to me, online rejection. When I went in person after the rejection they accepted it with no problem. They notified me online of the reason for rejection, needed to update my TM30 as I had a new passport.

Seems the online links to the TM47 and TM30 database but in person they didn't. All working now though.

same issue my last 3 were rejected no explanation. Last time me and wife went into immigration office and she told I saw your many attempts and she said declined each one personally. Reason I ask. Stupid remark she said, why not come into our new office. No valid reason what so ever and she said most of the time online doesn't work anymore. Many years no problem. Just another mind game they want to complain. And she said my tm30 wasn't up to date and I brought her a copy and showed it was. She basically said I remember you from all the years and don't bother with the online anymore.

I asked as a mismatch between the TM30 on file and the address you provide is frequently the reason. I now have to redo my TM30 after even 1 night away

My TM30 was first registered by my ex accountant 18 years ago when i bought this house. For 3 years i had no problem filing, just trying to understand why i am now being rejected each time. No problem going to do the drive thru, there and back in about an hour, i have the time as i am retired, just convenient if i can do it online.

I've been here 8 years. To begin with I didn't even have to file a new TM30 even after returning from abroad. Then I only needed to file a new one after returning from abroad. That changed fairly recently to now having to file a new one every time I stay a night in a hotel

Doubtful anyone on the group can help you sort out why you're getting rejected.

You'd have to talk to your immigration office

Make sure you have a current TM30 filed and that is the same exact address you're using for your 90 day reporting address. Apply 14 days before the due date, if rejected, you can try again.

It took me FOUR tries to get a 90 day report to go thru because the address I was filling out on the 90 day report wasn't matching exactly how the TM30 had the address written. I finally got it to go thru..

Sorry couldn't be more helpful.. 😕

I appreciate the feedback. I did ask immigration 3 months ago why it was being rejected, all i got was "mai roo". I thing i did notice and may be a possibility, when i click nationality because i am a Brit there are several answers, British, British overseas and a couple i can't remember. I think there are 4 or 5 variables. Also my area is srisonthoon, yet the spelling on the drop down is si sunthon. I will try that on Monday.
