I have a DTV visa and living in bangkok. If I want to apply the tourist visa for Japan, is it possible? Has anyone experienced for applying other countries visa with DTV?
DTV Application – “Pending Approval” stage: how close am I to approval?
Hi everyone, I’m posting anonymously just to get some reassurance and to help anyone else going through the same process.
I applied for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) through the London Embassy. A few days after submitting, I was asked to provide extra documents including a clearer passport scan, proof of funds showing at least £11,000, my company registration confirming my name and position, and a letter confirming that I’ll be working remotely for my UK business and not doing any work in Thailand.
I’ve now submitted everything they asked for, including a signed client letter confirming my remote work setup and UK income, plus bank proof showing well over the required amount.
Today my online status has changed from “Pending Document Check” to “Processing – Pending Approval.”
Does anyone know if that means I’m basically through and just waiting for it to be issued, or is there still a chance it could be rejected at this stage?
Thanks in advance — this group has been a huge help throughout the DTV process.
If you get asked for aninterview by the embassy, would they give you a specific time and date, or would there be a little flexibility in you scheduling one. I would like to travel a bit in the country I am in, but concerned with getting too far away from the embassy to get back in time if they set a specific time and date. Thanks. Maybe it is different for each embassy.
OA retirement question: My husband is on his 2nd year of a OA retirement extension he obtained in his home country, Taiwan. Now, a Thai university is considering giving him a paid research fellowship, so the question is: If he replaces his current OA with a paid research visa (similar to education visa), is there any risk in the future for him to re-apply for OA or O retirement extension?
Say a DTV visa holder flies into Thailand on a date other than the one stated in the application. Would that cause any issues at the border or would it be fine as the visa is valid from the day it is approved anyway?
Hi Guys, I am planning to apply for the DTV in Berlin. I am in Thailand already but will be back in Berlin in December for 2 weeks. Can I apply for the e visa while I am still in Thailand? For how long do I need to have the 500k baht in my bank account? Is one month enough? Can I hand in all the documents in German? Thank you very much in advance
Has anyone received a DTV Visa from Royal Thai Consulate-General, Los Angeles yet? I ask because I'm leery of applying to them, since the last time I did (for a tourist visa) they denied my visa, refused to offer a reason, and would not refund the application fee. It was only $40, so no big deal. However I do not want to pay $400 for a DTV application and have them refuse the visa without communicating with me. TIA.

Hi everyone, I was scheduled to report for the 90 day notice yesterday. This is my 2nd reporting, and as i remember last time (during the 1st reporting), the immigration officer told me to go online on this day. but since it was a sunday, i figured i'd do it a day before. Then i find out from some friends that i should've done this 15 days before yesterday's due date. Will i be penalized for this?
The status is still pending so far in the immigration website. I'm confused if I should just wait for it or if I should go to the immigration office (ours is in nakhon pathom) asap.
