TLDR : Answer Summary
The 'finished' status on the DTV indicates that the visa application process is complete. This means the applicant has either received their visa approval or rejection. To confirm the outcome, individuals should check their email for any notifications regarding the visa.

If it says "delivered visa by email" and you haven't received anything (that was my case), don't panic, look to the far right of the details in the "finished" line, you can download the visa

Sounds dodgy. Usually the status is either pending, requested further documents, cancelled, rejected or approved. Never seen finished before 🤷‍♂️
