I once applied twice for a tourist visa to Thailand and had my passport number autofill - and twice had it denied over wrong passport info. I had one extra digit duplicated I missed twice. Both times visa fee used up.
Anonymous participant which one are you applying from? you mention IRS so I assume USA? 3 months ago I did it via LA location and soft power, all I had to provide was 1 page of my bank balance, 1 letter of soft power (botox treatment) and approved. Thank goodness mine was easy.
I was under the impression even with a marriage visa it's nearly impossible to get citizenship, or just about damn hard. While duration of stay in Thailand is one of the requirements, you also need to speak the language.

TM30 is required - ..apparently. In 9 years doing visa extensions I was never once asked for it - at the immigration office.
