Thanks Adrian. For normal visa you mean tourist visa or, if he just jumps to Thailand for 2-3 weeks, visa exemption entry stamp?

If you are talking about TOURIST VISA, in Laos you can only get a single entry visa (60 days). You can get a multi entry tourist visa only in your home country (or in Australia), not in Laos
