I have my account in a Bangkok Bank branch in Bangkok. Yet the Bangkok Bank branch in Jomtien did the letter (stating balance) for me, no problem.

 I did exactly the same ! Indeed, they charged me 2'000 THB instead of 1'900. But I was quite happy to let it go ! 😄

 That is very little compared to the 20'000 - 30'000 baths that an agent might ask. Read again : I wrote that I saved 20'000 to 30'000 baths...
