TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks assistance in updating their Bangkok Bank passbook while currently outside Thailand. They request a trustworthy individual to help, as it requires using an ATM in Thailand to make the update. Several commenters caution against sending personal banking documents to strangers and suggest alternatives like contacting the bank directly or updating it upon return to Thailand. Some express willingness to assist, while others raise concerns about the implications of trusting someone with such important documents.
I'm not sure what the bankboom is for. It didn't contain all transactions, bangkok bank condenses several transactions to one... So it's no good evidence at immigration. Need to print 12 months account history! It takes several days....
You really think a trustworthy person will respond and say "i'm trustworthy!" The only people who proudly state what they are, are usually lying about it.
even a buffalo wont bite bank book in mouth no matter what balance it has printed! Not enough pages for a buffalo or calf to bite- so doesnβt matter if any or all are not at all trustworthy!! π
I could do that for you. Iβm in Hua Hin. Letters from Switzerland arrive reliably and recently take around 10-15 days with normal Swiss Post. You can send me a PM if youβd like.
Dont do that, why you do need to update, trough someone stranger , if you don't have special reason? If they loose your passbook, you know that you will have difficolt to deal with bank? Just an advice, by the way.
actually anyone can walk up to a teller with any bank book and they will update it. No need for it to be the account holder. Friends have done it dozens of times for me at multiple different banks and branches.
