REGARDING NOTIFICATION :

I just came back to Thailand from India (on a one-year-extension of a Non-O based on retirement, done in Jomtien in 2019). I will stay in BKK and then travel to Chiang Mai, for sightseeing). QUESTION : do the usual NOTIFICATIONS done by the hotels were I am/will be staying count as notifications ? Or do I have to do something on my side ? THANK YOU !

TLDR : Answer Summary
In Thailand, when you stay in hotels, the hotel staff typically takes care of the immigration notifications on your behalf. Therefore, if you are staying in hotels, these notifications are sufficient and you do not need to take additional action.

if you stay in hotels, the hotel staff will make the reports at Immigration.
