 Unless the person has done unlawful conduct or broken the law, their visa may be withdrawn.

 Normal tourist visas always change the term of stay based on the Thai government. Yet, because the DTV visa is a long-term tourist visa, they cannot amend it. However, they may discontinue the DTV programme and no longer provide this type of visa. The current DTV visa holder will be unaffected.
