I had a stamp in last year in which I was required to leave the Kingdom.... a full week before I even arrived. It was one of the rare moments in immigration at Suvarnabhumi where I have seen any officer crack a smile. Of course, I did NOT take it back to the fellow who had stamped it, but found a boss.

On the brighter side... In and out of Mae Nam immigration in under 20 minutes on Samui. One of the IOs actually came outside to fetch me while I was having a cigarette. "Sir? Finish!"
