Went today to get my 60 day family extension at MTT Counter K. All went smoothly and quickly until I checked my stamp. Clearly someone couldn't count 60 days? Fortunately, I checked straight away and had them correct it. (Got the Kor Ror 2 prior as mentioned by someone yesterday). Only 1 set of documents taken, originals were not checked. Longest queue was the queue for the queue number.... ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience obtaining a 60-day family extension at MTT Counter K. They encountered a minor issue where their stamp indicated wrong dates, which was promptly corrected. The process was efficient, with minimal document verification required. Several comments followed regarding similar experiences, discussions about the specific starting dates for extensions, and advice on document requirements.
Addition to this post; at Samui immigration the 60 days start immediately after the extension is obtained. Did mine today. They notified me in advance about it before I paid the extension fee.
hey Ben, should I have asked them to changed the dates? They only do that on request? I thought it was standard due to it being officially announced that way.
I had a stamp in last year in which I was required to leave the Kingdom.... a full week before I even arrived. It was one of the rare moments in immigration at Suvarnabhumi where I have seen any officer crack a smile. Of course, I did NOT take it back to the fellow who had stamped it, but found a boss.
