you’re putting words in my mouth. YOU’RE the one who blatantly stated it was more than not. I said quite the opposite.

I'm finding most of the degenerates in my generation and older though. Maybe I just haven't met the awful younger ones, and I've met numerous young farangs.

I'm not even denying that the stereotype reflects reality in some cases (I disagree that it's most as that's not the experience of those with whom I associate...perhaps it's the company you keep). I don't know what the percentage is. I think you're missing the point I'm making though.

If expat men think it's perfectly ok to take advantage of the desperation of Thai women (sexually) due to their financial circumstances, I see absolutely nothing wrong Thai women taking advantage of expat men for their desperation in finding "relationships". I will note that there are plenty of Thai women who are not in desperate circumstances. Those seem to be the relationships that flourish. When a man seeks a woman who will depend upon him for survival, they're kind of asking for trouble. 🤣🤣🤣 I have seen plenty of men who like this sense of power.

Tit for tat (double entendre intended)...that's all I have to say at this point.

I asked if people had experience with my office. My office is a 2 hour trip and then some (each way) if taking public transit. By car/taxi, it’s still an hour each way. If I can avoid an extra trip, I’d prefer to do so. Lastly, I have trouble walking & every step and standing (for example, in line) is excruciating. This attitude of so many that one should just go to the office, because it’s so easy to do, is ableist.

I asked for help from those with experience at my office. If you have none to offer, you need not debate me.

still better off reapplying and getting the non-O, unless you plan to pay an agent. Where do you plan to live? If outside Bangkok, it’s not quite as bad getting an account (or so it seems).
Ruth *******
Why are you doing that? You’ll have a nightmarish experience trying to open a bank account or need to hire an agent. You’re in the States already. Get your visa before you return and save yourself headaches.

considering he lives in the UK and he didn’t say he is in a member country, I’m not sure why you made that assumption. Maybe you’re the one not understanding.

how many calls do you make out and about? I have T-Mobile. $50/mo (net). I pay $0.25/min for calls, but I make most calls on WiFi.

make sure your phone is unlocked. That’s generally the issue.
