think its actually $3000. Major issue is that if anyone on an incoming flight tests positive the whole flight has to quarantine hence loosing your funds.

both my account branches are in pattaya. But as I said dont ask just at one branch. Originally is was told no, went to the same bank but different branch and they open account no problem .

All the branches of banks have their own rules. I have accounts in both Bangkok Bank and Krung Thai bank, I only have a tourist visa but other branches of the same banks did not allow me to open prior to gaining these accounts.
