How long did it take for everyone's on arrival test and go pcr test to arrive so you are let free out of hotel after negative?

Than what do you do

A friend of mine tested positive in day 5. He recoved from covid 3 weeks ago and when looking into his test results his CT is above 30, he's basically negative everywhere and positive in great Thailand. He showed the hotel his recovery certificate and asked them to tet him go, yet as usual the hotel is doing it's best to grab as much money from him , they making the process extremely slow and keep telling him BS like we're contacting the government and this takes time and all. What can he do to end this ASAP?

Update: They let him go!

(1) Thai Pass 30 day TV ... 2 hours hotel quarantine until PCR negative

Sirindhorn, Ubon Ratchathani ...

(2) Covid 60 day extension ... 10 minutes

This has confused me and say the test in Phucket are at the airport and then a test centre. I thought they were in the hotel?

If you want to go to Laos for business or pleasure, hotel quarantine is only 48 hours since yesterday 4/2/22!

Borders to Laos are finally open and conditions acceptable!

Does anyone know if one can stay in Bangkok for the 1st night with the Test and Go that starts on Feb 1st?

Anyone coming over soon on the test and go,just a little extra info for you. I arrived yesterday. The exit of Immigration at the airport is all rather chaotic. Lots of booths with hotel names on placards. You have to locate the right booth then give your details. They will then allocate where you can sit to await transit to your hotel. I arrived at the hotel early evening and was expecting a covid test right away. That was not the case, it was 8am this morning. I am doing the test and go in pattaya and last time I was here for full 14 day quarantine in the summer they had hospital staff at the hotel and you did the test at the hotel and they sent the samples to the hospital for processing. Different this time. They take you to the hospital in a songtaew where you do the test at an outside clinic near the hospital. Then driven back to the hotel to await the result. They say I will get the result late afternoon.

For the test and go hotel , I have mine booked for 1 night and the my other hotels on the following nights. After your results come back negative, are you free to stay in the hotel room until checkout the next day anyways ? I am arriving a bit early 9 AM to BKK airport, so likely they would come within the same day.
