TAT says Chiang Mai will fully reopen on Oct. 1 as well. Putting aside that CM was never meant to fully reopen anyway versus a limited program called Charming Chiang Mai, it's reliant on 70% fully vaccinated. It's not going to happen.

I've never understood people's obsession with protests. It's Thailand - it's more unusual for there to not be protests about something. Basing a decision because "OMG the protests" is just bizarre. I was in Bangkok in 2013 for a few weeks during Occupy Bangkok when grenades at one point were being thrown around. It affected me in that it took 90 minutes in a tuktuk and 400 baht to get from MBK to Khao San Road. If you get upset about protests and what's in the media - Thailand isn't for you.

I'd even suggest stinginess when it comes to general rubbish - most of my neighbors burn their rubbish let alone their rice waste. We have a local garbage pickup but you have to pay for it. I think it's 50 or 60 baht a month through the teesaban for the service.

they burn the waste, nor are seeds always common here versus cuttings.I didnt watch a doco, I live in the middle of rice paddies.
