They have major restrictions including pico y cedula meaning you can only go to shops etc on odd or even days depending on if you license or passport number ends with an odd or even number.

Is a refundable booking ok? Eg non-paid hotel booking on booking.com or similar?

if you're staying for 9 months, do you have to book and pay for a place to stay for the entire 9 months?

Question. How about the longer term tourist visa, the one that can be extended up to 9 months and can't be renewed or converted after that? Not sure what it's called. Do you have to book a hotel or apartment for the entire stay in advance for that visa too? Does it have to be a prepaid and non-refundable booking?

Hey Greg, i don't know how familiar you are with Thailand and Thai women. If you have never been to Thailand or had one or two short vacations and never had a relationship with a Thai lady, be careful. You need to meet and have relationships with at least a few Thai ladies before you know enough to choose someone for a long term relationship. It's ok to chat and facetime with someone because let's face it, we are all isolated and lonely in the middle of the pandemic. However, like someone else mentioned, don't send her any money. Don't make any long term plans or invest in this relationship more than you are prepared to lose.

Why did you pay for Delta One? You could have flown economy and got an entire row of seats to yourself.
