Just got an email from Eva air offering to let me bid on an upgrade to first class. I thought, well heck, let's offer a couple bucks and maybe I get lucky... I go to the page and you adjust a slider bar to set the amount you want to bid and it has a little peer pressure guide that tells you "how strong" your bid is... The LOWEST offer you could set... Was as much as the first class ticket would cost to just buy.

Just came back home on Thai Airways Sunday to Heathrow and very impressed plenty of food enough entertainment hood leg room and the bonus of no stopover. Would use again.

Has anyone gone to Thailand with Finnair recently? Was it ok?

Update: following my very empty flight from BKK-ICN, I flew ICN-SEA on Delta, I was the only paying customer in Delta One (but several seats filled by employees) and walking through I counted about 30 passengers on the entire flight. Crazy! At least 25 rows completely empty by my count.
