No. Ideally I'm popping into Hua Hin for a few nights to see some friends, coming from Malaysia into Thailand then headed North. If there are floods and trains are off I might just fly to Bangkok instead and pop down to Hua Hin in a week or two.
it's Hat Yai to Hua Hin I'm doing. When I was there a year ago my train was cancelled due to floods. Thanks for the link. I couldn't find the live times on there earlier but will check again.
they are, that's why I'm telling them it's free. Their own bank may charge them but the Bank ATM's in Malaysia don't charge like in Thailand. Like anywhere there are ATM's in shops that may charge but all the banks ATM's don't.
yeah but what you are saying is hindsight and not much use in helping the op who asked a genuine question.
Everyone is different. What if they arrived at the airport then were headed straight to an overnight train or something and didn’t have time to go to looking for another shop but wanted data for their trip?
Saying you should never ever buy at the airport doesn’t fit everyone’s situation. Just try and be nice and help the op 😉
I’m guessing the fact they’ve nearly used all their data would indicate they are maybe at their destination. Unless they have burned nearly 40gb before leaving the airport.
They can just go to any ais shop near where they are. Yes outside of airport a bit cheaper to start with.
