TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual from India, who has just turned 50, seeks advice on obtaining a visa to spend 6-8 months in Bangkok, where they plan to explore culinary skills. Comments suggest researching agencies, applying for a cooking school to attain a DTV visa, and checking schools in person.

I’m already a trained chef from Cordon blue lol , but I’m happy to do that as long as I can use it to hold classes

you can’t hold classes yourself as that would be working…if that’s what you meant. If your only after 6-8 months then get a multi entry tourist visa, you won’t need an agent for that. Check your own govt website for travel to Thailand, all your options will be on there.

Get off your high horse, man!!!

As a Visa student, you don't teach classes; you participate in them. You're looking for a suitable option for a 6-8 month stay, and learning Thai cooking would certainly be a good option. Any chef can do this, a Cordon blue Chef or even a Michelin-starred chef.

Or are you that kind of chef who already knows everything and can't learn anything new?
