Under the new rules, 2 months before you apply, 3 months after and not less than 400k for the remaining 7 months, then you start all over again.

You should have no problem, only 2 months seasoning required before applying. But as Tod would recommend, why not get the OA visa in the UK?

You can come on a visa exemption or tourist visa to look for a job, but you can’t start work until you have an employment-permitted visa/extension and a Work Permit.

What you have is a visa exemption. It can be extended for another 30 days at an Immigration office for ฿1900.

Are you in Thailand or Singapore now? You need a notarized copy of your Singapore marriage certificate, a Thai translation. Then you need to get the Thai translation notarized. If you are in Singapore, the notarized copy can be done by a notary public and the last step can be done at the Thai embassy. If your wife is not confident to do the translation, you can go to Golden Mile or Beach Road area, many Thai translation service companies there.

you have to understand the difference between a visa (which you get outside Thailand) and extension (which you get at Immigration inside Thailand).

The O-A is not available inside Thailand. You can, with ฿800,000 in a Thai bank for 2 months, get an annual extension of stay.
