Hey i am an american passport holder Almost ran up all my tourist visa days meaning 60 +extension of 30 days.. i am trying to change my visa but it seems that there are some mistakes on the documents the ministries made that need to be changed, and my days are runing out to secure a non-r visa from a tourist visa... can i reply for another tourist visa if the days are not enough? If so is it best to go to laos or malaysia to do this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author, a U.S. passport holder, is nearing exhaustion of their tourist visa days and seeks to transition to a Non-R visa but faces document issues with the Ministry of Religious Affairs. They inquire about the possibility of applying for another tourist visa with insufficient remaining days and whether it is preferable to conduct a border run to Laos or Malaysia to secure the new visa.

Both in 2019? You mentioned you lived in Cambodia a few months. The limit is 2 visa exempt entries by land in a calendar year.

If you did not do the 2 border run for this year you could still go to border Chom Jong near Buriram/Khorat to get a quick OUT/IN 30 day entry stamp.

And if your documents are still not ready, you can get another 30 day extension on that.
