TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on renewing their non-immigrant visa while currently not meeting the 800,000 baht requirement due to their UK return. Comments indicate that the user must maintain the minimum funds for two months before applying for the extension, as well as maintain a minimum balance thereafter. Additional options like obtaining an OA visa were also discussed.

Even when many people keep on telling the Thai Immigration rules changes daily, it does not make there B/S a true story. You can ask next week again to get the same answers as you got last week

I believe you have to have a minimum of 800,000 baht in your account for the two months before you apply for your next extension of stay. A minimum of 800,000 for the 3 months after you get your extension of stay and a minimum of 400,000 thereafter. Once you start this you can’t let the balance fall below the minimums. You have some time before you have to do this but not a lot of time.

You should have no problem, only 2 months seasoning required before applying. But as Tod would recommend, why not get the OA visa in the UK?
