look to Thailand’s northern border. China, the most populous nation, is already using its own CBDC and has been for a while. 70 other countries are either developing digital currencies or already using them as payment systems. The future is already here.

Almost everyone says “cash is king,” yet few seem to know & nobody has mentioned that, in the future, we are heading for a digital universe where there will be no cash. We will have cryptocurrencies & central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) so enjoy your cash while you can :-)

I like replaymatches.net. They show many of the footy games an hour or so after live broadcasts. Most games have HD as well as other settings, too. They have the EPL, UCL, Europa games, FA Cup etc., etc. And it’s all free. You can become a member as well which is $5 a month.

I got my 5-year renewal done in March, 2021. It was done by appointment which took 6 weeks of waiting.

it was 1700 THB as opposed to the IO version which is supposed to be free but costs 200 THB per copy. TIT.

that’s as may be but it’s still 200 THB for every paper copy of a certificate of residence with your name and address on it. I know cos I asked for an extra one and the immi officer asked for 400 THB.
Tom *******
“Did not cost anything.” By law, yes, but in reality, it’s 200 THB per copy. That’s at Chaeng Wattana anyway. Other IOs may not charge though.

You don’t need immigration. You can also get the certificate of residency from your embassy. It’s more pricey but possible, plus it’s much faster. Takes a couple of weeks from immigration.

I bought a SIM from AIS recently and have the same problem. It’s gathering dust on my sideboard. 555
