yes, you don’t report from outside the country from e.g. outside Thailand.

You said, “I already have 800K in the bank for two months,” but by that I assume you mean in a foreign bank account? it needs to be in a Thai account, in any Thai bank.

me too. I also have UK bank account-—Barclays-—and I have not lived in the UK for a long time, either. I get my mail sent to a friend’s place in Somerset and I can check my balance on the Barclays app, so I can still use it. Very easy.

There used to be a place in Sukumvit, Bangkok a few years ago that bought all of these coins and turned them into cash.

Those places already are but the clowns in Government House haven’t figured it out yet.

That’ll be the end of those videos that you often see on Thai TV where cops pulled someone over and solicited bribes. Even though there’ll be actual evidence of wrongdoing by government officials, a cop, an immigration officer etc, you will be the one who will be fined for exposing wrongdoing. Our world becomes more Kafkaesque every day. Enjoy! 🙂

Just as a follow up, I got my result this afternoon and I was rejected. They said the reason was there was no record of a previous 90-day report having been done despite me doing the last one online exactly 92 days earlier. People say the new reporting system is better than before. Not sure I agree. Guess I’ll have to go to Chaeng Wattana once more. Hey ho.
