I got mine in Cambodia but am American. I wear t-shirt and shorts when traveling (for comfort). Didn't use an agent and previously had a work visa (prior to 2019) and have entered Thailand 10+ times a year on visa exempt, with most stays being 7 to 14 days (was living in Cambodia)\. Still had no issues with DTV.

Where did you see a change? The whole 6-month, 3-month or 1-month requirement is usually embassy/consulate specific.

I have had my DTV since July 2024 and have entered and exited the country 10ish times and have never had an issue. However, only through BKK airport.

It is possible that all staff have been diverted to focus on diplomacy, due to the current conflict between the two countries.

- Here is an example from the Thai embassy in Romania. It clearly states that Romanians in Thailand or outside of Romania can not apply via the embassy in Romania. Under your argument, a Romanian in Malaysia can apply via Romania, which is a clear contradiction.

The e-visa application clearly asks where you are physically located. You can try to scam the site and say you are in Germany, which is what the agent is telling you to do

is the last immigration officer told you that you need a visa next time or you won’t be allowed to enter, I would probably pay the 40 bucks (or whatever it costs) and just get the visa.

they told him he has come too many times on visa exempt and now needs a visa.

which embassy in Europe you applying through? Most require you to be a resident of that country to apply for a Thai visa. What is your passport nationality?

If you traveled outside of the country, it resets. Your next 90 day reporting after you re-entered is considered your first report again.
